Quality Compassionate Care

Americares delivers and supports quality clinical services at Americares-run clinics and through emergency medical teams and builds the capacity of health workers in partner clinics to meet the needs of the communities they serve. 

• In our home state of Connecticut, we operate Americares Free Clinics for low-income, uninsured patients. The four clinics, located in Bridgeport, Danbury, Norwalk and Stamford, provide care for more than 2.500 low-income, uninsured patients each year. 
• Since its founding by Americares in 2003, the Family Clinic in El Salvador has provided quality health care, medications, and outreach services to thousands of underserved families (more than 30,000 patients each year).
• Americares India sends 13 mobile health centres into Mumbai slum neighborhoods six days a week, providing quality primary care and health education to hundreds of patients every day who otherwise would have no access to health care.
• And in times of disaster, Americares supports emergency medical teams and temporary clinics to serve the most vulnerable.  For example, in the Venezuela humanitarian crisis, Americares has established clinics near the Colombia border to serve families crossing over to seek access to primary health care.
